Hello everyone!
I hope you are all having a good week and able to concentrate on daily life knowing that Outsmarted will be part of your life soon!! :)
We have reached our first stretch goal today so thanks to all of you for backing Outsmarted and spreading the word to friends & family and on social media!
This means that another 500 questions will be included with the game, bringing the total to 3000+
Our next stretch goal will add 20 additional Team Icons to pick from so if anyone has any suggestions let us know. The existing 20 icons are quite varied!
Yesterday, we launched the Backers Pack questions submission and you’ve already submitted almost 200 questions.
As I explained yesterday, these are questions by all of you, only available to all of you! It means your versions of Outsmarted will be the only ones with this unique question pack.
And like all of the question packs within Outsmarted you can choose to enable them or not at the start of each game...

Finally, the sample painted miniature figures from the game that come with the Limited Edition version of Outsmarted have arrived and we think they are fantastic!! (almost collectible). Thanks to Gaurav our brilliant 3D designer...

Good morning everyone,
Just a very quick update to say that one of the two Limited Edition bonus characters will be unveiled within the hour on our campaign page.
Where for art thou bonus character? :)
We will also release all of our first stretch goals today as I know many of you have been waiting very patiently!

Stretch goals and a quick informal character vote

Hello everyone.
We hope you all like our first two stretch goals. These will be followed by two much bigger "feature based" stretch goals to come straight after we meet these two!
Also, we are struggling to decide on the last character so, although this is an informal vote, would like everyone that has an opinion to let us know. By Wednesday we will announce this last character!
We have narrowed it down to five options:
Florence Nightingale / Amelia Earhart / Queen Elizabeth I / Marie Curie / Hypatia

Firstly, once again a big thank you to everyone that has supported us, it means a lot and we are doing really well on Kickstarter thanks to you all!
In return... our promise to you... we will make Outsmarted an amazing experience to for you to play with friends & family. We have high hopes and ambition and know you will look back to say.. I got that game first!
Rather than send out a lot of regular updates, here is one long update before the weekend update for all that are interested in keeping up to date on what’s going on at Outsmarted INC!
It's are first Kickstarter (the first of many we now think) and we hit the ground running, we didn't envisage the amount of work involved once you launch :)
There are lots of points that might be of interest to some of you.
- Stretch Goals - We will announce these very soon (probably tomorrow) and they will have been worth waiting for. So please be patient. They are coming very soon. We can say that the more you spread the word about Outsmarted, the more we are able to fund new features and content that will make the game even better than it already is. So please spread the word!
- New multipack - We have just released a 5 copy multipack of both the Retail & Limited Edition Kickstarter versions of the game. We did this as many of you have asked. The price is very good so if any of you are in a early Christmas present buying mood, just login and increase your pledge to take advantage of the multipack deal.
- Who will the bonus figures be? - As many of you know, the Kickstarter Limited Edition version includes two bonus 3d genius miniatures. We will unveil the first one at the weekend. Thanks to all of you for your suggestions so far! We are still looking for the best female genius suggestions, anyone that you think was iconic or an inspiration to many. Help us choose! We are short on time as the 3D model of this last character has to be sent to the manufacturer mid-week so we need your suggestions this weekend and the winner will be announced a the end of the weekend!
- We have a sample of our 3D figures - We have our first sample of the manufactured figures with us today and all I can say is you are in for a treat. They are simply.. great!
- Our FAQ's - We have added some of the most commonly asked questions to the FAQ and will continue to add more as they arise. If anyone has a particular question let us know!
- Question Packs - As you all know there is a Question Store in Outsmarted where you can get EVEN more questions and this library of content will build over time. We are currently in talks for some incredible licensed content, including clips from famous songs for "name that tune" questions and clips from famous movies for movie questions. Any ideas you have for Question Packs are greatly appreciated, no matter how specific or unusual! We are open to your ideas!
- Educational Packs - We have had a lot of requests from backers involved in education to create some packs that cover the British and American school systems curriculums. We will be doing this for sure.. Outsmarted will make a great learning tool in schools and you as parents will be able to buy these packs at low cost if you wish to support your children's learning in a really really fun way. This is some months away from release, but for sure in 2021 we will begin to launch these packs that are being developed in conjunctions with some very smart teachers!
- The future - Outsmarted is great, but it's only going to get better and better. New updates, new content, surprises... The idea being, it should never get boring!
We are aiming big, so please everyone spread the word, the better we do the more stretch goals we can in place and the more features everyone that has backed Outsmarted will get.
